LifeAID’s Institute for Strategic and Policy Studies (ISPS) is a Think Tank research, analysis, policy orientation and training institution in Cameroon. Its aim is to produce analyses that bring about change in Africa. To this end, it conducts studies that generate policy orientation in the advancement of science, political, security, economic, social and cultural transformations on the continent. With problem-solving as its main scientific focus, it will serve as an aid to decision-making, training, information and the building of strategic awareness in Africa. Its ambition is to respond to local needs, to the deep-rooted realities and aspirations of the people, in order to guarantee results that are close to reality and in phase with local needs and demand.

Its purpose is to encourage and carry out work on problems of Strategy, Defense, Geopolitics, Peace, Security and development. It publishes papers and books in a variety of forms and constantly promotes the results of its research. As such, it is a genuine arena for knowledge sharing with the community of strategic studies specialists, experts and the wider community in search of credible information. As a result, it participates in the development of a regional strategy for strategic research with its partners and carries out evaluations and expert assessments in its field on a regional scale.

ISPS is committed to objectivity and integrity. Its research dynamic is of general interest. It conducts its activities in a spirit of responsibility. Consequently, it is not attached to any particular interest or any political, ideological or partisan position. It promotes the plurality of opinions expressed and the need for moderation in the analyses, language and opinions of its research team. In doing so, it relies on the relevance of its analyses, the quality of its activities and programs, and the influence of its supporters on a national and international scale. It will set up numerous programs and activities designed to meet the needs of Societies.
